GHK-Cu (Glycine-Histidine-Lysine-Copper) is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide found in human plasma, saliva, and urine. It activates genes involved in collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycan synthesis and upregulates antioxidant and anti-inflammatory gene expression. Research has demonstrated its role in wound healing, nerve regeneration, and cellular remodelling through TGF-β pathway activation. Its copper-chelating activity contributes to redox signalling and tissue repair processes.
