GHK-Cu (Glycine-Histidine-Lysine-Copper) is a copper-binding tripeptide naturally present in human plasma. It has been shown to activate genes involved in collagen and elastin synthesis, modulate TGF-β signalling, and exhibit potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Research has examined its role in skin barrier repair, wound healing, neuroregeneration, and reduction of systemic inflammation. Its copper-chelating activity also contributes to redox signalling and tissue remodelling processes.
